Optoelectronic reconnaissance system for aircrafts (ORS) is installed onboard aircrafts and and intended for detection of air targets in visual and partially adverse weather conditions, around the clock.
Composition ORS:
- Incoming missile detector (IMD)
- Laser emission detector (LED)
- Information processing unit (IPU)
Tasks:
- Continuous spherical environment survey
- Detection of incoming missiles, and determination of their angular coordinates
- Automatic detection of laser light sources
