Status

Joint-stock Company “Research-and-Production Corporation “Precision Systems and Instruments” (JC “RPC “PSI”) was established on the basis of FSUE “Scientific and Research Institute of Precision Instrument Engineering” (NII PP), established under the government decree on January 27, 1986.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 20, 2007 № 1391 the proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation was adopted on transforming FSUE “NII PP” into the Open Joint-stock Company “Research and Production Corporation “Precision Systems and Instruments” (OJSC “RPC “PSI”) with placement of 100 percent of shares in federal ownership.           

From August 03, 2015, in accordance with the requirement of the Federal Law № 99-FZ of May 05, 2014 OJSC “Research and Production Corporation “Precision Systems and Instruments” was renamed to Joint-Stock Company “Research and Production Corporation “Precision Systems and Instruments”. 

Joint-stock Company “Research-and-Production Corporation “Precision Systems and Instruments” (JC “RPC “PSI”) develops:

• laser and radio electronic systems for ephemeris-time and metrological support of space navigation and geodetic complexes;

• optical systems, including ultraviolet, visible and infrared wavelength ranges for space (airborne and ground-based) based on the use of laser transmitters, receiving and transmitting optical systems, laser retroreflectors, photodetectors.
