Corner reflector
A corner reflector is a unique optical device that reflects incident electromagnetic waves of the optical range in the direction opposite to the incidence direction. Corner reflectors in satellite laser ranging meet the most stringent requirements. The error in the manufacture of dihedral corners of reflectors should be less than 0.1 angular second. The material of a corner reflector (quartz glass KU-1) should be of a high quality category.
